Content Creation Trainee (Emiratisation)

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with over 10 owned brands and more than 950 stores across the Middle East, is hiring a Content Creation Trainee for The Deal, its digital brand. The role sits in a hands-on marketing environment, giving exposure to the full content creation journey across TikTok, Instagram and other digital touchpoints, and helping bring a fresh, culturally relevant perspective to the content and social media presence.

Key responsibilities

• Bring fresh, culturally relevant ideas for TikTok, Instagram and social media content, staying curious about trends, pop culture and digital conversations.
• Research content trends across markets and identify ideas relevant to The Deal.
• Support content from initial concept through to execution, including short-form video editing and preparation of social content.
• Create simple posters, posts and creative assets with Canva and similar tools.
• Support on-site content shoots, including product preparation, set coordination and working with the people involved.
• Maintain content calendars, marketing trackers and upcoming deliverables.
• Support basic reporting and data tracking with Excel, and coordinate with stakeholders so content is delivered on time.
• Support activations and outlet-based content opportunities when required.

Required profile

• UAE National with a Family Book.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, Creative Industries or a related field.
• Natural interest in TikTok, Instagram, social media, pop culture and emerging digital trends.
• Creative mindset, strong organisation, proactive and confident collaborator.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CapCut or similar video-editing tools.
• Familiarity with Canva for social posts and simple visual assets.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills for trackers, calendars and reporting.
