Contracts Manager – EPC Project, UAE

About the role

Archirodon, an international EPC contractor active for more than half a century, is looking for a full-time Contracts Manager to join its team on one of its projects in the UAE. The role covers the construction and related contracts of the project, working closely with the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise and ensure compliance with the construction and related contracts, advising the Project Manager
• Prepare and handle all contractual correspondence and legal documents related to project execution
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations to the Client and report to the Project Manager
• Identify contractual and legal matters at project level and refer them to the Project Manager, and to the Contracts Manager if needed
• Refer deviations from standard forms of documents, agreements or contracts to the Project Manager
• Prepare contracts and legal documents with third parties using standard templates
• Review supplier and subcontractor proposals and prepare routine responses to bids and contract modifications from a contractual viewpoint
• Analyze and manage business conflicts with the Client or third parties and submit proposals to the Project Manager
• Collect and advance critical input on litigation, arbitration or extrajudicial settlements to the regional level, in coordination with the Project Manager and Legal & Contracts Department

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quantity surveying or construction law
• At least 15 years of experience overall, including at least 10 years as a Contract Manager on large-scale, complex projects
• Experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken

• Full spectrum of contracts management: document review, correspondence, claims, dispute resolution
