Contracts Manager

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its Ruwais, United Arab Emirates team. In this role you will oversee the full lifecycle of contracts for large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance, performance and timely delivery of project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor existing contracts to align outcomes with client requirements and organisational goals.
• Analyse contract performance, compliance and risk, and prepare progress reports, variation orders and extensions of time.
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, vendors and internal project teams, handling inquiries, disputes, variations and negotiations.
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, procedures and records using project‑management and contract‑administration software.
• Support project managers with fee management, payment milestones, claims processing and invoicing.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within contract terms and recommend modifications.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract administration within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk management and project specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to produce accurate reports and documentation.
