Contracts Manager

About the role

Currie & Brown is looking for a Contracts Manager to join its Abu Dhabi team, focusing on infrastructure and mixed‑use development projects. You will manage the full contract lifecycle, ensure compliance with legal and client requirements, and support project delivery across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications and contracts to confirm correct equipment, materials and subcontractor services are ordered or purchased.
• Maintain client relationships and produce commercial and contract reports according to client specifications.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including negotiating terms, awarding supplier contracts and recommending contract awards.
• Update existing contracts and explain terms and conditions to managers and relevant parties.
• Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress and liaise with clients and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies and analyse potential risks associated with contract terms.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and owners to ensure project goals are met and contractual deadlines are satisfied.
• Maintain an organised system of physical and digital contract records.

Required profile

• Proven work experience as a Contracts Manager.
• Basic knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
• Excellent writing skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent discipline.
