Corporate Associate (2-4 PQE) – Bahrain

About the role

Join the international Corporate and Finance practice in Bahrain, supporting a diverse client base on complex cross‑border corporate, commercial and finance transactions. You will work closely with a Senior Associate and the wider Middle East team, handling both firm matters and secondments to client in‑house legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical commercial legal advice and draft documents with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate due‑diligence, review corporate and commercial documents, and manage international counsel.
• Assist with corporate reorganisations, shareholder and partnership agreements, and investment advisory mandates.
• Draft and review finance documentation, oversee conditions precedent and prepare enforceability opinions.
• Support lender and borrower clients on regulatory queries under the CBB Rulebook and cross‑border transactions.
• Develop client relationships, contribute to business development and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in a common‑law jurisdiction with 2‑4 years PQE (England & Wales preferred).
• Experience advising GCC clients on corporate, commercial and finance matters.
• Strong commercial judgement, ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and client‑relationship skills.

Required skills

• Corporate advisory and governance, private capital structuring, acquisitions and disposals.
• Investment structuring, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and group reorganisations.
• Banking and finance documentation, security and enforceability opinions.
• Regulatory advice under the CBB Rulebook; Islamic finance experience is desirable.
