About the role
The Corporate Sales Manager will lead the hotel’s corporate account portfolio, driving revenue through new business acquisition and deepening relationships with existing clients. This role works closely with internal teams to deliver tailored commercial solutions and ensure seamless hand‑over to operations.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively manage and grow an assigned portfolio of corporate accounts to meet revenue targets.
- Identify, qualify and acquire new corporate accounts with strong potential for room nights, meetings and ancillary revenue.
- Develop and execute account plans to increase penetration, market share and revenue contribution.
- Build long‑term, value‑based relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment and other business‑development activities.
- Negotiate corporate agreements, rates and contracts in line with pricing strategy and commercial guidelines.
- Manage corporate RFP opportunities and ensure accurate, timely submissions.
- Monitor account production, market trends, competitor activity and take corrective action as needed.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, Reservations, Groups & Events and above‑property sales teams.
- Communicate confirmed business to operational departments and maintain accurate data in sales systems.
- Achieve assigned revenue, sales activity, account acquisition and client‑meeting targets.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum two years of hotel sales experience in the UAE, preferably in a five‑star international hotel.
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE corporate market with established connections in Abu Dhabi.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, negotiate and convert new business.
- Excellent commercial awareness, communication, presentation and relationship‑management skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently while contributing to the wider commercial team.
