Corporate Tax Policy & Legislation Specialist (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The organization seeks an experienced Corporate Tax Policy & Legislation Specialist to support the development, interpretation, and enhancement of the UAE's Corporate Tax framework. The role involves close collaboration with public‑sector and regulatory stakeholders on policy and operational matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and draft Corporate Tax policies and legislative proposals, including Laws, Executive Regulations, Cabinet and Ministerial Decisions.
• Interpret Corporate Tax legislation, provide technical advice on complex tax matters, and prepare technical publications such as clarifications, guides and FAQs.
• Analyze complex corporate structures and cross‑border transactions, and conduct policy impact assessments for proposed legislative amendments.
• Assess alignment of the Corporate Tax framework with OECD standards and international developments, and recommend legislative enhancements.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and regulatory authorities, and support audit, compliance and operational teams on complex cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Corporate Tax, Tax Policy, Tax Legislation or International Tax, including senior specialist or technical expert level.
• Professional tax or accounting qualification (ADIT, CTA, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• Proven experience interpreting complex tax matters, drafting legislation and preparing technical memoranda, legal opinions and policy papers.
• Arabic proficiency and ability to work with government stakeholders.
