Cost Accountant – Specialty Coffee Roastery

About the role

The Cost Accountant will join LMTD Specialty Coffees’ finance team in Abu Dhabi, supporting the roastery and coffee‑shop operations. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on tracking, analysing and reporting production and operational costs to drive profitability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost reports for raw materials, labour and overhead across the roastery and retail outlets.
• Assist pricing decisions by providing accurate cost data and variance analysis.
• Reconcile inventory records and cost variances, ensuring proper journal entries and allocations during month‑end close.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to maintain reliable cost information for budgeting and forecasting.
• Support internal controls, financial audits and recommend process improvements in cost management.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in cost accounting, preferably within food & beverage, manufacturing or retail.
• Ability to interpret and explain financial statements to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
