Cost Control Manager - Construction

About the role

Ali & Sons Contracting LLC, a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding Group, is hiring a Cost Control Manager to lead its Planning & Cost Control team at the Mussaffah head office in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on accurate cost planning, monitoring project financials and supporting data-driven decisions so that resources are allocated optimally and projects remain profitable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets based on Work Breakdown Structures and defined cost elements (labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment).
• Track and report project costs and financial performance against budget.
• Perform variance analysis, identify cost trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Support preparation of change orders and EOT claims, and assist in SAP implementation.
• Lead, mentor and build the capability of the cost control team to improve overall project controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost control with major contracting firms.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, project financial reporting and cost optimization.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
