Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will ensure accurate financial monitoring and cost control for the Food & Beverage operations of Rixos Bab Al Bahr. You will work closely with the F&B team and corporate finance to maintain internal controls, manage inventories, and support profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and monitor all financial affairs related to the Food & Beverage department.
• Receive, verify and process supplier invoices, matching them against purchase orders and receiving slips.
• Prepare accounts payable vouchers and control the flow of goods across receiving, storerooms, kitchen and outlets.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and year‑end inventories for food, beverages, mini‑bar and operating supplies.
• Establish daily and monthly cost reports, profit & loss statements, and cost recipes for new menu items.
• Implement internal control and audit systems to supervise F&B costs.
• Maintain effective employee relations, prepare work schedules and facilitate HR communication within the department.
• Produce provisional P&L statements for special events and track sales statistics.

Required profile

• Professional grooming and adherence to hotel standards.
• Willingness to attend scheduled training sessions.
• Strong cooperation and respect for team members and other departments.
• Good product knowledge of all hotel facilities.
• Ability to coordinate with corporate finance and support administrative tasks.
