Credit Manager – Trade Finance

About the role

DP World is expanding its Trade Finance offering and seeks a Credit Manager to lead credit due‑diligence, underwriting and portfolio management for corporate borrowers. The role is based in the Dubai International Financial Centre and reports to the Director of Credit.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive credit due‑diligence on import/export, receivables/payables, invoice discounting, commodity and inventory financing transactions.
• Analyse financial statements, identify early‑warning signals and manage collections and recoveries.
• Ensure compliance with DP World’s credit policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and mitigate portfolio risk, drive remediation actions and coordinate with external service providers such as risk consultants and recovery agents.
• Review term sheets and loan documentation, providing credit risk support and innovative financing solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree from a reputable university.
• 12+ years of credit risk experience in banks, financial institutions or NBFCs, with a focus on large corporate lending.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance products and cross‑border transaction risk.
• Proven ability to assess, mitigate and manage credit risk in complex portfolios.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
