CSR/Vessel Lead – Offshore Construction

About the role

The CSR/Vessel Lead will act as the focal point for the project, representing the Project Management Team on all contractual matters during offshore installation campaigns. Reporting to the Project Team Leader in Abu Dhabi, the role involves daily coordination with contractors, marine representatives and field personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor contractor work on offshore construction vessels and barges, ensuring compliance with approved procedures and safety regulations.
• Conduct daily progress meetings, minute them, and follow up on actions, including review of extra work and change‑order requests.
• Arrange work permits, organize safety briefings, toolbox talks and safety drills, and ensure HSE and QA standards are adhered to.
• Produce daily and close‑out reports highlighting progress, incidents, recommendations and lessons learned.

Required profile

• B.Sc. (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of offshore oil & gas construction experience, including at least 10 years with jacket, deck, bridge, subsea cable, pipeline/riser installation and pre‑commissioning/commissioning.
• Extensive experience on self‑elevating and derrick/lay barges.
• Fluency in English and strong knowledge of international safety codes such as SOLAS and MODU.
