Customer Project Manager

About the role

The Customer Project Manager will own the full lifecycle of customer‑facing projects that leverage Cisco technologies, from initiation through planning, execution and closure. You will ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, quality and customer‑satisfaction targets while aligning with the customer’s business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT, cloud or enterprise networking projects for Cisco customers.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers, Customer Experience Managers and Sales teams to maintain operational transparency and accelerate technology adoption.
• Manage project financials, including budget execution, revenue forecasting, SOW creation and vendor compliance.
• Apply PMI and Agile frameworks, leveraging AI‑enabled automation tools to optimise reporting, predict risks and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of project or program management experience in IT, cloud or enterprise networking.
• Proven track record delivering complex, customer‑facing projects and managing financial aspects such as budgets and vendor governance.
• Experience working in the Middle East & Africa market and ability to operate in multinational corporate environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies – PMI and Agile.
• Use of AI‑enabled automation tools for delivery optimisation.
• Technical certifications such as CCST Networking, CCST Security, CCNA or equivalent cloud certifications.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security and cloud architectures.
