Customer Project Manager

About the role

Join Bombardier’s new Abu Dhabi Service Center, a state‑of‑the‑art MRO facility opening in Q1 2027. The Customer Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for customers, overseeing project delivery, quotations, invoicing and warranty issues while ensuring schedule and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the daily primary contact for customers, coordinating quotes, invoices, progress updates and issue resolution.
• Manage multiple aircraft projects, identifying risks, controlling constraints and maintaining schedules through delivery and follow‑up.
• Prepare and review pricing, work orders, labor charges and Pro Forma invoices; approve final customer invoices.
• Facilitate status meetings, monitor workflow, and ensure work packages stay on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate special programs (Smart Parts, ESP, MSP, Honeywell, Warranty) with planning, invoicing and materials teams.
• Handle post‑work activities, customer follow‑up calls and issue resolution after aircraft departure.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
• At least 2 years experience in customer project management or supervisory roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation or Management.
• Strong knowledge of GCAA, EASA, FAA regulations (Part 145) and aircraft maintenance inspection programs.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Understanding of accounting and budgeting principles for profit/loss analysis.
