Cybersecurity Advisory & Assurance Lead

About the role

The Cybersecurity Advisory & Assurance Lead is a senior, hands‑on professional who will drive complex cybersecurity assessments, advisory engagements and transformation programmes for enterprise and government customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide cybersecurity maturity and capability assessments using frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls and UAE/GCC regulations.
• Conduct control design and operating‑effectiveness assessments, review policies and standards, and evaluate SOC, SIEM, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, incident response and vulnerability management capabilities.
• Assess security architecture across cloud, hybrid and OT/ICS environments and validate penetration‑testing and red‑team results.
• Develop remediation roadmaps, maturity models, risk registers and executive dashboards, and present findings to CISOs, CIOs and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity experience across multiple disciplines, with proven experience leading enterprise assessments.
• Strong ability to conduct stakeholder interviews, produce executive‑level reports and present technical findings in business‑risk language.
• Experience in highly regulated sectors (government, critical infrastructure, financial services, etc.) is a plus.

Required skills

• NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls, UAE Information Assurance and GCC cybersecurity regulations.
• SOC operations, SIEM, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM/PAM.
• Security architecture for cloud, hybrid and OT/ICS environments.
• Penetration testing, red‑team assessments, OSCP, PNPT, CEH (or equivalent practical experience).
