Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

The Manager of Cyber Security leads the enterprise cyber security strategy, operations and governance across on‑premises and cloud environments. This role oversees a dedicated team protecting servers, cloud platforms, Kubernetes clusters, networks and databases, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cyber security roadmap aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC), including monitoring, threat detection and incident response.
• Manage vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, remediation plans and security controls for servers, networks, cloud services and containers.
• Lead incident response, forensic investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA and local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, IT or related field (master’s preferred); relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, etc.).
• 8+ years of IT security experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes security, container hardening and cloud‑native security tools.
• Proven track record in leading incident response and crisis management.

Required skills

• Securing Windows and Linux servers.
• Cloud security for AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud.
• Kubernetes and container security (CKS a plus).
• Enterprise networking and IAM/zero‑trust practices.
• Database security for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL and CouchDB.
• Vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, SIEM, IDS/IPS.
