Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the financial and non‑financial reporting for our Middle East and South East Asia sites. The role will work closely with the Regional Management Accountant and Finance Director to ensure data accuracy and deliver insightful analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Track, monitor and validate financial and non‑financial data across regional sites.
• Provide data analysis and KPI reporting for the Regional Management team.
• Prepare management and reporting packs using TM1 Cognos and other reporting tools.
• Develop and improve management information reports and financial models for budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
• Manage projects involving data collection, problem‑solving and business efficiency reviews.
• Identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce comparative efficiency reports and support annual budget preparation.
• Meet tight deadlines set by the group and perform any reasonable tasks assigned by the Regional Management Accountant.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst with strong Excel and presentation abilities.
• Experience in data analysis, planning and working with accounting software.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and consolidate data for management reporting.
• Some accounting knowledge is desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Navision, Oracle, SAGE or similar financial systems.
• TM1 (IBM Cognos) reporting platform.
• Data‑warehouse and reporting system experience.
• Financial modelling.
