Data Analyst – Supply Forecasting & Inventory Management

About the role

The Data Analyst will support the Technical Supply and Planning teams by providing accurate forecasting, inventory analysis, and data‑driven recommendations to ensure optimal stock levels for critical equipment systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual supply forecasts for the Annual Service Plan (ASP).
• Analyze due‑ins from OEMs, vendors, and balance‑on‑hand data for assigned equipment systems.
• Collaborate with Technical Supply and Technical Planning departments to advise on platform stock levels and assess balance‑on‑hand reports.
• Review inventory data and recommend optimal line‑item stock levels for main stores.
• Establish safety and reserve stock levels for critical line items to maintain operational readiness.
• Monitor spares status and maintenance trends, and support demand analysis for assigned platforms.
• Maintain the spares master data record and coordinate requisition of authorised supplies.
• Apply continuous improvement and LEAN management principles.
• Ensure tools, test equipment, and high‑value property are serviceable, inventoried, and safeguarded.
• Support material section colleagues and uphold confidentiality of company documents.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Material Manager.
