Data Center Specialist (GCC)

About the role

This role covers data center power and mechanical and electrical systems, from design review through commissioning and handover. It also supports tendering and pre-sales with solution design and sizing, and involves close work with clients, consultants, contractors and OEM partners across GCC markets.

Key responsibilities

• Approve the company and the product with different entities
• Provide technical expertise across data center power, mechanical and electrical systems, from design review through commissioning and handover
• Support tendering and pre-sales with solution design, sizing and technical clarifications
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning to ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and OEM partners
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, HSE requirements and client standards in each GCC market
• Mentor technical teams and share best practice across countries

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline
• 5+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical environments, including at least 3 years in the GCC
• Track record on live data center projects, from construction through to operations
• Fluent English required; willingness to travel across the region

Required skills

• Hands-on knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear and other electromechanical data center equipment
• Familiarity with regional authority and data center requirements
• Strong problem-solving under pressure and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders
