Data Scientist – Data Quality & Verification (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

LogiX is seeking a Data Scientist to lead data quality and verification for a major Abu Dhabi organization. You will work on production AI products built on Azure (including Azure OpenAI, SAP, and M365 data sources) and have direct visibility with senior executives. This is a full‑time, hybrid consulting assignment running until the end of January, with strong prospects for conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Own data quality across the portfolio: validate data, reconcile conflicting sources, and certify the KPIs presented to leadership.
• Evaluate AI outputs by creating labeled test sets, selecting appropriate metrics, and measuring quality before any release.
• Provide analytics and model‑backed insights for product teams, ensuring explainability for executive decision‑making.
• Trace suspect numbers to their origin and verify pipelines using strong SQL and Python skills.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience certifying data for senior leadership and explaining why it is reliable.
• Proven ability to design evaluation frameworks (test sets, metrics) for AI models.
• Track record of detecting and resolving production incidents caused by incorrect data.
• Curiosity and a habit of questioning data rather than assuming its correctness.

Required skills

• SQL
• Python
• Azure (cloud services and AI tooling)
