Data Transformation & Change Manager

About the role

Damen Shipyards Group is building a data‑powered organisation and needs a senior professional to lead the onboarding of new data services into its Data Shared Service Centre. The role combines transformation leadership, stakeholder management and practical delivery to turn opportunities into operational, value‑creating services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end data transformation initiatives and the onboarding of new data services and objects.
• Define scope, milestones, risks and success measures, and coordinate activities across business, governance, IT and data teams.
• Drive change adoption through stakeholder engagement, communication, training and readiness assessments.
• Support the implementation of Data Governance, Master Data Management and service‑management practices.
• Provide transparent progress reporting, capture lessons learned and help scale services across domains and regions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data transformation, change management or shared‑services projects.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional transformation initiatives in complex, international organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple functions and levels.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured onboarding plans and ensure operational sustainability.
