Dealer Sales Development Consultant – Africa, Middle East & Eurasia

About the role

The Dealer Sales Development Consultant will support Caterpillar’s dealer network across Africa, the Middle East and Eurasia from our Dubai hub. The role focuses on transforming dealer sales teams from transactional sellers into trusted advisors by delivering commercial training, leadership development and value‑selling capabilities. You will act as the primary liaison between dealers, district industry teams and Caterpillar’s Global Commercial Learning group.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for dealers, district industry and DSD teams within the assigned region for sales and leadership training.
• Promote and deliver commercial training modules, courses and programs that align with dealer needs and Caterpillar processes.
• Manage intake of dealer and district training requests and coordinate delivery across the territory.
• Gather regional dealer feedback and relay insights to the Global Commercial Learning team to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Assess dealer salesforce learning and development capabilities and advise on key improvement areas.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Learning team and Global Commercial Talent Development to implement dealer sales and leadership development processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with dealer sales teams, L&D or HR functions in a commercial environment.
• Strong understanding of sales and leadership competency models, assessment tools and learning platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills to engage dealer sales management and district teams.
• Ability to analyse feedback, identify training needs and drive continuous improvement.
