About the role

The Demi Chef De Partie will support the Executive Sous Chef in delivering high‑quality dishes for both à la carte and buffet services at Fairmont Dubai. This position requires a strong focus on consistency, hygiene, and guest satisfaction while working in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to hotel recipes and standards for à la carte and buffet menus.
• Maintain mise en place, ensuring freshness and proper rotation of products.
• Communicate daily with Outlet Chefs to relay guest feedback and operational updates.
• Uphold cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and kitchen policies.
• Support colleagues with professional, friendly, and proactive service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the culinary field.
• Journeyman’s papers or international equivalent.
• Diploma or certification in a culinary discipline (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
