Deputy Head of Primary (Start Jan 2026)

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding Deputy Head of Primary to join GEMS Founders School in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, starting January 2026. The role supports the school’s vision, mission and policies, driving academic excellence and pastoral care across the primary phase.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Principal and Head of Primary in day‑to‑day and strategic management of the primary school.
• Lead curriculum planning, monitor progress and ensure high academic standards aligned with the UAE National Agenda.
• Oversee behaviour for learning programmes and promote a positive school culture.
• Communicate effectively with parents and the wider community to advance the school’s vision.
• Manage staff performance, resources and budgets, and undertake teaching duties as required.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s educational strategy.
