Dermatology & Cosmetology Specialist

About the role

Al Dhafra Hospitals is seeking a qualified Specialist in Dermatology and Cosmetology to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering comprehensive skin care, performing cosmetic procedures, and contributing to the hospital’s commitment to high‑quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, obtain medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and perform dermatologic and cosmetic procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with other medical specialists, departments, and support services to ensure integrated patient care.
• Document all clinical information accurately and timely in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities.
• Provide supervision, instruction, and mentorship to junior medical staff, residents, and students.
• Communicate treatment plans and obtain informed consent, ensuring compassionate interaction with patients and families.
• Adhere to hospital policies, occupational health and safety guidelines, and infection‑control protocols.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school.
• Completed residency or fellowship in Dermatology/Cosmetology.
• Minimum 2–3 years of post‑specialization clinical experience.
• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility to practice in Abu Dhabi, plus current license from the country of last practice.
• Certificate of Good Standing from the relevant licensing authority.
• Successful completion of the DOH licensing exam.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
