Dietitian Intern (Western‑Trained)

About the role

Mealsonme is looking for a motivated Dietitian Intern to join the Mayfair Nutrition Center for a six‑month internship. The role offers hands‑on experience in an outpatient, wellness‑focused environment, supporting clients with evidence‑based nutrition counseling and personalized meal planning.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including dietary intake analysis, anthropometric measurements, and lifestyle evaluations.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized nutrition plans for weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular health, food intolerances, gut health, and sports nutrition.
• Provide one‑on‑one counseling and coaching using behavior‑change techniques such as motivational interviewing.
• Help design and lead group workshops, cooking demonstrations, and corporate wellness seminars.
• Track client progress, document sessions, and adjust plans based on feedback and outcomes.
• Create educational materials, meal plans, and social‑media content to promote the center’s programs.

Required profile

• Currently in the final year of, or recently graduated from, an accredited Dietetics/Nutrition program in the UAE, US, UK, Canada, Australia, or EU.
• Strong foundational knowledge of clinical nutrition, weight management, and preventive health.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to tailor nutrition advice to diverse cultural, religious, and personal preferences.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Eligibility for DHA registration or a Good Standing Certificate.
