Digital Product Expert – Digital Squad – Engagement & Content

About the role

The Digital Product Expert has end‑to‑end responsibility for developing, managing and rolling out commercial digital products and services, ensuring an optimal customer experience. The role supports the Product Owner/MarTech Lead in strategy, design and delivery of a self‑service platform for business enablement within Mashreq’s Digital Studio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, platform admins, designers, QA and subject‑matter experts to deliver digital solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Prioritise and manage the team backlog, ensuring execution of program priorities while maintaining technical integrity.
• Collaborate with IT, Compliance, Architecture, Operations, CX, Legal and other stakeholders to deliver platform features and functionalities.
• Develop intuitive platform features to drive digital adoption and increase share of wallet through seamless UX/UI.
• Ensure platform components are policy compliant, free of technical debt and handle incidents and improvements efficiently.
• Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives, demos) and track progress, risks and mitigations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in MarTech, CRM or CDP, with a proven track record in large‑scale, multi‑country programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams, manage external vendors and make strategic decisions on in‑house development versus third‑party solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure ROI and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across marketing, IT, compliance and business units.

• CRM and CDP platforms (implementation, migration and integration).
• Customer data unification, segmentation and personalization.
• Enterprise data integration and architecture knowledge.
• Knowledge of Consumer Protection Regulations and regional data‑privacy requirements.
• Agile project management (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
