Digital Solutions Architecture Lead

About the role

The Digital Solutions Architecture Lead will design secure, scalable network and infrastructure solutions for a global portfolio of customer projects. This high‑trust position bridges Sales, Product/Technology and Programme Delivery, turning requirements into actionable architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of digital network/infrastructure solutions aligned with customer needs and internal standards.
• Provide pre‑sales architecture support for bids, tenders and pursuits, including technical documentation and solution direction.
• Translate requirements into architecture baselines, high‑level scope statements, implementation plans and deployment prerequisites.
• Produce high‑level network, concept and solution diagrams using Visio or AutoCAD.
• Define VM and hardware requirements to support costing and planning.
• Support programme teams with routing/configuration planning, ticketing linked to solution delivery, and cybersecurity documentation.
• Monitor deployed solutions, feed back performance data, and suggest improvements.
• Standardise documentation, create reusable templates, and build relationships with third‑party suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong experience in solution architecture and network design within enterprise IT environments.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP and real‑world network behaviour.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to produce clear architecture packs.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
