Director, Affiliates Relationship Lead

About the role

The Director, Affiliates Relationship Lead will manage risk related to the bank’s affiliates across Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, overseeing onboarding, risk monitoring and limit management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage risks associated with affiliate transactions and maintain the bank’s affiliate risk framework.
• Oversee onboarding of new affiliates and handle information requests and risk events for existing affiliates.
• Review affiliate transaction and behavioural data to identify thematic risk areas and drive financial‑crime risk reviews.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on risk mitigation and corrective actions, and ensure effective oversight of risk management frameworks.
• Manage intragroup limits (CAT1‑3), conduct annual reviews, coordinate ALCO approvals and remediate limit breaches.
• Drive data‑led and technology‑enabled improvements, including automation, dashboards and MI reporting.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to translate policy into actionable controls and support audit and regulatory requests.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in non‑financial risk, particularly financial‑crime risk, with the ability to identify and close emerging risks.
• Proven experience in risk oversight, limit management and stakeholder collaboration across corporate, investment and wealth banking lines.
