Director, Corporate Tax Advisory (UAE)

About the role

PwC Middle East is looking for an experienced Director to lead complex corporate tax engagements across the UAE. The role combines market leadership, technical excellence and people management, supporting multinational groups, family offices and sovereign wealth funds on UAE Corporate Tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advisory on UAE Corporate Tax law (Federal Decree‑Law No. 47 of 2022), including group structuring, free‑zone regimes, participation exemption and loss utilisation.
• Oversee delivery of advisory, compliance, controversy and transaction projects, setting strategy, scope, budgets and staffing.
• Drive business development, originate new opportunities and build executive‑level relationships in priority sectors.
• Lead, coach and develop high‑performing teams, fostering inclusion and collaboration across service lines.
• Manage risk, quality, independence and profitability, ensuring accurate billing and cash collection.

Required profile

• 12+ years of corporate/international tax experience, with significant time in a Big Four or leading law/consulting firm and strong UAE/GCC exposure.
• Deep technical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax law and IFRS tax accounting (IAS 12).
• Proven track record of leading multi‑jurisdictional engagements and generating new advisory business.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or Economics; recognised tax qualification preferred.
