Director - Finance (Arabic Speakers Only)

About the role

A leading provider of end-to-end clean energy solutions, specializing in the processing, compression, transportation, storage and supply of natural gas, is looking for a Director of Finance. The role provides strategic financial leadership to the CEO and executive team and requires fluency in Arabic.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company's capital structure, leading debt, equity and project financing negotiations with banks and investors.
• Oversee treasury strategy, liquidity management and cash flow forecasting, and monitor performance through key KPIs.
• Ensure financial reporting integrity and compliance with IFRS, UAE corporate tax, VAT and statutory regulations.
• Lead enterprise risk management across liquidity, credit, operational and regulatory risks.
• Evaluate new investments, acquisitions and capital projects using financial modeling and risk-adjusted return methods.
• Manage the finance department and relationships with banks, auditors, regulators and investors.

Required profile

• Minimum 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 7+ years in senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration; MBA or related postgraduate qualification highly preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA or CA is required.
• Experience in energy, natural gas, utilities, infrastructure, transportation, engineering or capital-intensive industries.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in Arabic is a must.
