About the role
The Director will lead the Government and Public Sector coverage within FAB's Investment Banking division, driving client relationship growth and ensuring high service quality for UAE government entities.
Key responsibilities
- Implement CIB policies, procedures and controls to meet legislative and quality standards.
- Conduct financial analysis of clients and markets to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with Managing Directors and Executive Directors to originate new business across banking products.
- Develop term sheets, information memorandums and financial models.
- Manage credit, market and operational risk aspects of transactions.
- Maintain account plans, client documentation, and ensure timely credit reviews.
- Oversee KYC and AML compliance in line with bank policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of investment banking experience.
- Strong knowledge of banking sector, FAB products and business strategies.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
