Director, International Business Development & Government Relations (UAE)

About the role

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a senior leader to head International Business Development and Government Relations for the United Arab Emirates. Based in Abu Dhabi, the Director will shape regional growth strategies, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and align market priorities with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development and government‑relations activities across the UAE and support strategic priorities in Morocco, Oman, and Qatar.
• Develop and execute country and regional strategies that drive growth, improve market positioning, and strengthen high‑value stakeholder relationships.
• Partner with segment presidents and business leaders to shape and implement strategies that support international orders, pipeline development, and revenue objectives.
• Monitor political, economic, regulatory, budgetary, and geopolitical developments and translate insights into actionable business strategy.
• Advise enterprise leadership on government policy, defence spending, procurement activity, and regional developments.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with government officials, customers, industry leaders, trade associations, and strategic partners.
• Represent L3Harris in‑country and across the region, participating in boards, councils, and leadership forums to advance enterprise strategy.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead business development and government‑relations initiatives in the UAE region.
• Experience shaping and implementing strategies with senior business and segment leaders.
• Strong understanding of political, economic and regulatory environments affecting defence and aerospace markets.
• Demonstrated skill in building senior‑level relationships with government and industry stakeholders.
