Director of Fundraising

About the role

The Director of Fundraising will lead BLACKBULL LAW HOUSE’s fundraising and philanthropic programmes from its Abu Dhabi office. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape and execute strategies that attract major donors, grow annual giving and forge strategic partnerships aligned with the firm’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans, including major donor cultivation, annual giving campaigns and corporate partnerships.
• Identify, engage and steward prospective and existing donors, preparing compelling proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with senior partners to align fundraising targets with the firm’s overall strategy and monitor performance metrics.
• Oversee donor communications, stewardship activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Represent the firm at external events, network with key stakeholders and promote a culture of philanthropy internally.

Required profile

• Several years of senior‑level fundraising or development experience, preferably in professional services, legal or corporate environments.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets through major donor and annual giving programmes.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with experience managing budgets and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Law or related field; advanced degree or fundraising certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi.
