Director of Manufacturing & Procurement

About the role

Kayali is seeking a seasoned Director of Manufacturing & Procurement to lead its external manufacturing, procurement, and quality functions. Reporting to the Global VP of Operations, you will own the end‑to‑end supply chain journey, from supplier sourcing through industrialisation at contract manufacturers to the delivery of compliant finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the vision for external manufacturing, procurement, and quality aligned with global expansion goals.
• Lead the transition from toll to contract manufacturing and launch new external manufacturing partners.
• Develop and maintain risk‑mitigation and business continuity plans across all suppliers and geographies.
• Build high‑value partnerships with contract manufacturers to optimise cost, quality and scalability.
• Manage the Purchasing team and own the strategic sourcing roadmap for direct materials, indirect goods, services and contract‑manufactured finished goods.
• Oversee quality assurance to ensure products meet regulatory and brand standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in manufacturing, procurement or supply chain within a consumer‑goods or fragrance environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational transformation and manage multi‑region supplier networks.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost modelling, should‑cost analysis and open‑book negotiations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cross‑functional teams.
