Director of Marketing

About the role

The Director of Marketing will lead the marketing and communications function for Anantara Downtown Dubai, a luxury property within the Minor Hotels portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership across the property, regional office and global brand, you will shape the resort’s market positioning, drive revenue growth and ensure brand standards are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee brand management, advertising, creative development and media buying, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.
• Lead the e‑communications and social media programmes, monitoring performance and adapting to market trends.
• Identify and negotiate sponsorships, promotional partnerships and strategic alliances.
• Monitor competitor activities, industry trends and brand perception, providing regular insights to senior management.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in marketing leadership within the hospitality or luxury sector.
• Strong track record of delivering measurable revenue growth through innovative campaigns.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with media, agencies and strategic partners.
• Ability to inspire, coach and develop a multidisciplinary marketing team.
