Director of Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Operations to join a dynamic 5‑star beachfront resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead day‑to‑day operations, enhance guest experience and drive overall performance across all operational areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support daily operations across the resort.
• Drive a consistent, high‑quality guest experience at every touchpoint.
• Collaborate closely with Heads of Department to maintain strong operational standards.
• Ensure effective coordination between Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Recreation and Guest Experience.
• Support guest recovery and resolve operational challenges with sound judgement.
• Champion high standards of safety, hygiene and operational readiness.
• Coach and develop operational leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Contribute to commercial performance through productivity, cost awareness and revenue opportunities.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives across the resort.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior hotel operations leadership.
• Hands‑on, engaging approach with a focus on teamwork.
• Strong judgement for guest recovery and operational problem‑solving.
