Director of Risk Management

About the role

Dubai Holding Group is looking for a Director of Risk to lead the risk function for Dubai Holding Investments (DHI). Reporting to the Managing Director – Finance, the role will design, implement and continuously improve an enterprise risk management framework that safeguards DHI’s assets, reputation and long‑term objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DHI’s enterprise risk management (ERM) framework and integrate it with strategic and operational planning.
• Define risk appetite and tolerance levels aligned with DHI’s investment goals and communicate them across the organisation.
• Lead risk identification, assessment and mitigation for financial, operational, regulatory and strategic risks affecting DHI’s portfolio.
• Implement risk monitoring systems and dashboards to deliver timely, actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to the SVP – Finance and DHI Management, highlighting emerging risks and proposed mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and international best practices in risk governance.

Required profile

• Minimum 120 months (10 years) of experience in risk management, preferably within investment or financial services.
• Proven ability to advise senior leadership on risk exposure and resilience strategies.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and decision‑making capabilities.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory environment and international risk standards.
