Director of Strategic Communications

About the role

The Director of Strategic Communications will shape and deliver the corporate narrative for a global manufacturing group operating across Europe and MENA. Reporting to the SVP of Corporate Communications, the role translates complex business, transformation and growth priorities into compelling stories for internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain corporate narratives that articulate strategy, purpose and market positioning.
• Lead executive positioning programmes, crafting speeches, keynotes, articles and thought‑leadership content for the CEO and senior leaders.
• Design and execute communication plans for major transformation, restructuring, expansion and strategic change initiatives.
• Drive proactive reputation‑building campaigns and monitor industry trends, media narratives and stakeholder sentiment.
• Lead communications for high‑profile corporate projects such as investments, partnerships, acquisitions and market expansions.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Marketing, Investor Relations, Government Relations, HR, Legal and Sustainability to ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholder groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
• 12–16 years of experience in strategic or corporate communications, executive communications or PR, preferably within global manufacturing, industrial or related B2B sectors.
• Proven track record developing corporate narratives and supporting CEOs or senior executives.
• Experience communicating complex technical or industrial topics to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high‑profile, cross‑functional communications projects across Europe and MENA.
