District Manager - UAE

About the role

Abercrombie & Fitch is hiring a District Manager for the UAE, covering both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The District Manager acts as the business and operational leader across several store locations, working with home office partners, peers and supervisors to optimise regional strategy and drive business performance. The district manages 6-10 owned and operated stores with annual volume of $15M-$35M.

Key responsibilities

• Own store-level performance, including sales and productivity targets, through retail operational excellence in partnership with Store Operations, Location Planning, Supply Chain H&S and AP.
• Deliver a fast, friendly and easy customer experience and elevate visual merchandising, including forms, in-store standards and floor sets aligned to brand strategy.
• Oversee workforce allocation to meet targets, manage payroll within store budgets and maintain store staffing levels.
• Analyse retail KPIs and collaborate with HR, AP, maintenance and recruiting to solve district needs.
• Lead, inspire and develop a multi-layered stores leadership team, develop top talent and promote candidates based on results.
• Activate the ANF culture and values in store teams to drive engagement and motivation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or related experience.
• Retail experience leading 3+ direct reports and a team of 30 people; preferred experience in multi-unit management in specialty retail.
• Ability to speak to business partners in English.
• Five-day work week, with possible extra hours or days during peak holiday periods and weekends, and travel is required.
