Document Controller - Glazing

About the role

Careers International is hiring a Document Controller for a glazing project in Dubai. The postholder manages a daily workload of documents and supports the Technical Project Team and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Register all incoming and outgoing correspondence, transmittals of drawings and technical documents and related files for all active projects.
• Log and release new and revised work orders to the Procurement and Fabrication departments.
• Manage emails and inquiries and distribute them to the concerned personnel and departments.
• Maintain the Work Order log sheet and update it daily so orders can be monitored easily.
• Coordinate with the project team on the status of submitted documents and distribute copies to all relevant people.
• Maintain the Project Master Register for all technical and non-technical documents.
• Distribute documents received from the contractor to the relevant individuals and department heads.
• Prepare the materials needed for new submissions for different projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or diploma in mechanical, industrial or instrumentation engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in production and industrial plants.
• Prefer applicants who are currently in the UAE.

Required skills

• Good communication and administration skills.
• Expert knowledge of the MS Office suite.
