Door Manager

About the role

The Door Manager will oversee all guest entry points at Terra Solis Dubai, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for visitors while enforcing venue policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise entry and exit points, verify identification, enforce age restrictions, check tickets or cover charges, and enforce dress codes.
• Oversee door staff, train new members on entry procedures, security protocols, and guest service standards, and assign tasks during peak hours.
• Maintain a visible presence at entrances to deter unwanted behavior, handle intoxicated patrons, address confrontations, and coordinate with security for crowd control and emergencies.
• Provide a welcoming atmosphere, address guest inquiries and complaints, and ensure VIP and regular patrons receive high‑level service.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations such as alcohol licensing and fire safety, maintain incident records, and report security issues to management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in security or hospitality, preferably in a nightlife environment.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent verbal communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and handle demanding situations.
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding nightlife venues.
