Draftsman – Electrical Drawings

About the role

The Draftsman will create and develop detailed electrical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, supporting project delivery from tender to as‑built stages. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary, tender, shop, construction and as‑built electrical drawings in line with project requirements.
• Develop electrical layouts covering lighting, power distribution, cable routing and related systems.
• Incorporate approved design changes, conduct site visits for verification and assist in Bill of Quantities preparation.
• Support tender activities, attend technical coordination meetings and maintain organized records of approved drawings.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Draftsmanship or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience in electrical drafting, preferably on infrastructure or landscaping projects.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software.
• Good knowledge of electrical layouts, drawings and technical specifications.
