About the role
The Duty Manager ensures smooth hotel operations during assigned shifts, overseeing multiple departments and maintaining high service standards. This position plays a key role in guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise hotel departments during assigned shifts, ensuring operational standards are met.
- Address and resolve guest concerns and service requests promptly.
- Liaise with department heads to coordinate seamless service delivery.
- Respond to emergencies, manage incidents and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prepare and submit shift reports, communicating key updates to management.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within a hotel.
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
