Duty Manager - Sinyar Graduate Programme (Retail)

About the role

SINYAR is Al-Futtaim's graduate development programme, where participants join the business in a defined position while following a structured development path. As a Duty Manager in the Sinyar Retail programme, you will gain hands-on experience in store operations, customer experience, team coordination, stock management and commercial performance, learning from experienced store leaders and gradually taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store with the store leadership team, including opening and closing procedures, shift coordination and store standards
• Learn operational and administrative processes such as cash and store controls
• Engage with customers, support customer-service standards, help resolve queries and understand product recommendations and customer needs
• Work with experienced managers to build retail leadership, team communication and collaboration skills
• Support stock availability, replenishment, inventory, stock transfers, cyclic counts and visual merchandising
• Learn how sales performance and store KPIs are monitored and how staffing, service, availability and merchandising affect results
• Learn store SOPs and support compliance with health, safety and trading requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above; fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused mindset, organised and proactive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn, take ownership and develop leadership capabilities
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
