E & I Supervisor – Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking an experienced E & I Supervisor to lead electrical and instrumentation activities at an oil and gas facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning while ensuring compliance with safety and permit‑to‑work procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate daily E&I activities and allocate work to technicians based on project and maintenance priorities.
• Review electrical drawings, instrumentation diagrams and specifications before execution.
• Monitor installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, control systems, cabling, panels and field devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation faults and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure all activities comply with approved procedures, permit‑to‑work requirements and site HSE standards.
• Inspect completed work and support testing, commissioning, punch‑list clearance and handover.
• Collaborate with engineering, mechanical, operations, safety and other site teams to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline; B.E./B.Tech preferred.
• Relevant experience in oil & gas electrical and instrumentation supervision.
• Familiarity with hazardous‑area E&I practices and HSE compliance.
