Electrical & Mechanical Engineer (Emirati National)

About the role

WSP is looking for a motivated Emirati Electrical & Mechanical Engineer to join our Sharjah office. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience across a variety of engineering projects, mentorship from senior staff, and exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyse and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project plans.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure project execution complies with standards.
• Help review project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Maintain safety, quality, and sustainability focus throughout engineering activities.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Internship or project experience in a relevant industry (consultancy, construction, manufacturing, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
