Electrical Technician – Dubai Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Electrical Technician to join the facilities team at the Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel. The successful candidate will install, maintain and repair electrical systems throughout the property while ensuring full compliance with UAE safety standards and local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect and maintain wiring, equipment and electrical systems according to technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions using multimeters, oscilloscopes and circuit testers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, blueprints and technical documentation.
• Repair or replace faulty components, wiring and equipment with precision.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections to verify functionality and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to schedule work and ensure project completion.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of hands‑on experience in electrical installation, maintenance or repair.
• Valid electrical certification or licence preferred for the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
