Electrician - 5-Star Resort

About the role

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, a 5-star resort in Ras Al Khaimah, is looking for an electrician. The electrician performs a wide range of duties related to the installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the property's electrical systems and equipment, keeping the environment safe, functional and comfortable for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment and facilities throughout the property
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation of all electrical installations
• Inspect the property for safety hazards and take immediate corrective action when needed
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimise disruption
• Assist guests about property facilities in an informative, professional and helpful way
• Plan and prioritise daily tasks so maintenance is completed within set timelines
• Support other departments with their maintenance requests and operational needs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards and company policies
• Keep records of maintenance work and report major repairs or equipment issues to the Engineering team

Required profile

• Proven track record in a similar role for at least 2 years, preferably in a 5-star resort in the UAE
• Technical education background and related diplomas
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritise work in a busy schedule and to be a team player
