Electrician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al‑Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all electrical systems, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and new installations.
• Install wiring, devices, and temporary power for events, adhering to all safety protocols and local UAE regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive safety checks, read and interpret engineering drawings, and operate in‑house lighting control systems.
• Maintain inventory of parts, keep work areas organized, and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues efficiently.

Required profile

• Journeyman electrician certification or equivalent with at least five years of commercial electrical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and UAE electrical codes.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
